iM Securities Hosts 'US Stock Real Investment Competition'

iM Securities announced on the 23rd that it will hold the "U.S. Stock Real Investment Competition."

This competition is the first U.S. stock real investment competition conducted by the company and is targeted at iM Securities customers trading U.S. stocks. It will be held in a total of four sessions, each lasting two weeks, and prize money will be awarded to league winners in each session. The total prize money amounts to approximately 80 million KRW, with individual prizes of up to 27 million KRW possible. Eligible trading stocks include all tradable stocks listed on the U.S. market.

In the "Warming-up Session," all participants who achieve a return rate of 3% or higher will equally share a prize pool of 20 million KRW. The "Training Session" is divided into leagues by generation: 20s, 30s, and 40s. Each league’s top performer in return rate, who meets the requirements of a turnover rate of 300% and assets of at least 1 million KRW, will receive a prize of 2 million KRW.

The "Rank Session," held exclusively for Training Session participants, divides participants into three leagues based on their return rate rankings in the Training Session. The top return rate winner in each league, who meets the requirements of a turnover rate of 200%, assets of 5 million KRW, and trading at least three stocks, will receive a prize of up to 10 million KRW.

The "Special Session" is divided into leagues with assets of 100 million KRW, 30 million KRW, and 10 million KRW or more. Among participants who record a return rate of 1% or higher, the top trader by trading volume and the top return rate winner in each league will receive a prize of up to 15 million KRW.

Additionally, one participant who meets the requirements in each session will be selected by lottery to receive a round-trip airfare ticket to New York.

The competition is open to anyone who applies through the iM Securities website, Mobile Trading System (MTS), or Home Trading System (HTS) under the real investment competition menu by November 30. New account holders who open an account at an iM Securities smart branch and apply to participate in the competition during the period will receive a $5 U.S. stock investment support fund. Until the end of the year, an online trading commission rate of 0.02% and a 97% favorable exchange rate benefit will be provided for U.S. stock trading. Additionally, if a participant trades U.S. stocks even once, they will receive an online trading commission rate benefit of 0.03% for one year.

Pre-registration for the competition began on the 9th, and an event offering Americano coupons to the first 1,000 applicants was fully subscribed within a single day, attracting significant attention from investors.
