Aekyung Industrial's functional vegan solution brand ‘A Solution’ has launched the ‘A Solution Houttuynia Cordata Soothing Line,’ which quickly soothes sensitive skin and cares for troubles. The Houttuynia Cordata Soothing Line contains Houttuynia Cordata extract, known as a skin-soothing ingredient, providing ‘trouble solution care’ products that quickly and effectively manage various skin troubles. Reflecting the skin concerns and cost-effectiveness consumption needs of the 10s and 20s generations, the line and prices are structured by ingredients and efficacy. The A Solution Houttuynia Cordata Soothing Line consists of seven types including cleansing foam, toner, toner pads used in the first step of skin care to reduce sebum and soothe the skin moisturizedly, and spot treatments, serums, creams, and packs containing calamine to help relieve irritation, suitable for intensive care stages. CU Strengthens Collaboration Products… Launches eSports T1 Team Convenience Foods
Convenience store CU, operated by BGF Retail, will release four products in collaboration with the eSports team T1 on the 26th, coinciding with the opening of the League of Legends (LoL) international tournament. T1 convenience foods have been consistently popular due to the team’s strong fanbase and high product quality. When the first collaboration product was launched in October 2022, cumulative sales reached 7.5 million units, and the second series released in April this year also gained great popularity with over 900,000 units sold. The third series of T1 collaboration products includes spicy curry rice bowl (4,500 KRW), Neapolitan pasta (4,500 KRW), gochujang pork belly kimbap (3,400 KRW), and 3XL chicken mayo triangular kimbap (1,600 KRW), all menus favored by T1’s main male fan base. The packaging features four stars representing the team’s historic championship wins, wishing for T1’s success in the upcoming international tournament.
CU also launched ‘Weasel Ball Highball’ in collaboration with whiskey specialist YouTuber ‘Water of Life - Enjoying Whiskey,’ who has 220,000 subscribers. Recently, CU partnered with global game company Blizzard Entertainment to release two ‘Diablo IV collaboration wines’ and introduced three premium cup coffee products, the ‘Signature Flat Series,’ in collaboration with the coffee specialty store Miruku Coffee. Throughout this month, new collaboration products across categories such as collaboration wines, famous restaurant RMR products, and character collaborations will be released consecutively.
KT&G Launches ‘lil SOLID 3.0’ Equipped with Boost Mode and Smart On
KT&G introduces the heated tobacco product ‘lil SOLID 3.0’ equipped with key features such as Boost Mode and Smart On. The lil SOLID 3.0 is an upgraded version of the ‘lil SOLID 2.0’ launched in 2020. This new product significantly enhances user convenience by applying two newly introduced usage modes that provide differentiated smoking sensations. Boost Mode offers a rich vapor volume and strong impact, while Normal Mode delivers a smoking experience equivalent to lil SOLID 2.0 in terms of performance. Additionally, the ‘Smart On’ feature automatically preheats upon stick insertion, and a ‘fast charging’ function allows charging up to 50% within 40 minutes.
Maintaining the familiar and convenient round design unique to lil SOLID, the product now uses aluminum metal material for the first time, enhancing sophistication and luxury. The product is available in four colors: Galactic Blue, Satin Silver, Midnight Green, and Stella Red.
Lotte Home Shopping Presents ‘Gravity,’ the Sold-Out Hair Loss Shampoo Developed by KAIST
Lotte Home Shopping is introducing the functional hair loss shampoo ‘Gravity,’ developed by researchers at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). ‘Gravity’ is a high-performance hair care brand developed by Polyphenol Factory, a startup founded by Professor Lee Haesin of KAIST’s Department of Chemistry. The product, recognized for its hair loss mitigation effects by global clinical institutions, caused a ‘sold-out frenzy’ within 109 hours of its domestic launch in April. The patented ingredient ‘LiftMax 308™’ forms a protective film on hair, enhancing hair volume. On the 25th, ‘Gravity’ shampoo (475mL) will be sold at a discounted price of 20,000 KRW for six bottles through the fashion program ‘Young Style.’ Previously, the Gravity shampoo attracted 32,000 viewers during a mobile TV broadcast on ‘ELive’ held on the 10th of this month.
BYC Launches All Day Long 2024 Autumn and Winter New Products
BYC is releasing the ‘All Day Long’ autumn and winter products targeting people in their 20s and 30s.
