Hope Bridge to Host 2024 Character Contest
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (President Song Pil-ho) announced on the 23rd that it will hold the "2024 Hope Bridge Character Contest" to raise social awareness about disaster relief and to promote a culture of sharing and donation.
Anyone in the public can participate by choosing one of three themes: a character that well represents Hope Bridge's mission and values, a character that helps neighbors affected by disasters, or a character symbolizing a bridge connecting donors and disaster victims. Winners will receive plaques and certificates along with cash prizes: 2 million KRW for one Grand Prize team, 1 million KRW for one Excellence Award team, and 500,000 KRW each for two Encouragement Award teams. The character selected for the Grand Prize will be used for Hope Bridge promotions.
The submission period is from the 23rd until October 28th. Results will be announced on November 15th through the Hope Bridge website after judging.
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, said, "This contest aims to raise awareness of the importance of disaster relief and to promote the culture of donation," adding, "We hope to receive many creative and meaningful character submissions."
