Research Alume predicted on the 23rd that companies such as Hyundai Everdigm, S-Wise Steel Tech, and Dasco would benefit once Ukraine begins reconstruction projects after ending the war with Russia.
Choi Seonghwan, a researcher at Research Alume, explained, "According to data compiled by the World Bank last February, the scale of Ukraine's reconstruction projects is expected to reach approximately $486 billion over 10 years," and "the amount of funds needed for urgent reconstruction and recovery this year is about $15 billion."
He added, "Ukraine's reconstruction projects will become a new driving force for growth in infrastructure, energy, and construction-related companies," and "if Ukrainian President Zelensky discusses reconstruction support with major U.S. presidential candidates, it will have a positive impact on the stock prices of related domestic companies."
Researcher Choi emphasized, "Our government has already expressed a strong willingness to actively participate in Ukraine's reconstruction projects," and "‘K-Smart City’ companies are expected to play a key role in the reconstruction process."
He explained, "Modular construction involves manufacturing more than 70-80% of the main components and parts as standardized modular units in factories," and "modular construction can reduce costs and shorten construction periods." Researcher Choi predicted that the modular market will grow through Ukraine's reconstruction projects.
He continued, "The deck plate market is also growing annually," and analyzed, "Deck plates are construction materials used to quickly build floors and slabs of steel structures and can be included in the category of modular construction."
