The team 'Team Iron Heads GC,' consisting of the two players along with Jinichiro Kozuma (Japan) and Scott Vincent (Zimbabwe), combined for 8-under-par 280 strokes in the final of the LIV Golf Team Championship (total prize money $50 million) held on the 22nd (local time) at the Merrido Golf Club (par 72, 7,553 yards) in Carrollton, Texas, USA, sharing the runner-up position with 'Team 4 Aces GC' led by Dustin Johnson (USA). Kevin Na and Kozuma scored 3-under-par, Danny Lee 2-under-par, and Vincent even par.


LIV Golf, sponsored by Saudi Arabian capital, awards both individual and team results at each tournament. Four teams advanced to this final: 'Team Iron Heads,' 'Team 4 Aces,' 'Team Reaper GC,' and 'Team Legion 13.' The regular season rankings of the four finalists were: 'Team Legion 13' 2nd place, 'Team Reaper' 3rd place, 'Team 4 Aces' 10th place, and 'Team Iron Heads' 13th place. The final was conducted by having all four players of each team play 18 holes of stroke play, with the team recording the lowest total score winning the championship.

'Team Reaper,' captained by Cameron Smith (Australia), won by 3 strokes (11-under-par 277 strokes). Smith scored 4-under-par, Lucas Herbert 3-under-par, and Matt Jones and Mark Leishman (both Australia) each scored 2-under-par. 'Team Reaper' received a winner's prize of $14 million (approximately 18.7 billion KRW). $8.4 million went into the team account, and each player received $1.4 million (approximately 1.87 billion KRW). 'Team Legion 13,' which did not participate due to Jon Rahm (Spain) showing cold symptoms, finished 4th (6-under-par). LIV Golf will start the 2025 season on February 6 next year in Saudi Arabia.
