'Excellent Livestock Products Gathered in One Place'... 'Gyeonggi-do Livestock Festival' Opens on the 27th

The excellent livestock product festival, "2024 Gyeonggi-do Livestock Festival," organized to promote Gyeonggi-do's outstanding livestock products, will be held for two days on the 27th and 28th at Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park in Paju City.

According to Gyeonggi-do on the 23rd, this event, sponsored by Gyeonggi-do and hosted by the NongHyup Central Association Gyeonggi Headquarters and the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Agency, will feature participation from cities, counties, and livestock-related organizations within the province. It will offer various attractions, food, and entertainment, including promotional discount sales of Gyeonggi-do's excellent livestock products and local agricultural specialties, as well as exhibitions of livestock equipment.

At the "Gyeonggi Excellent Livestock Product Tasting and Sales Corner," free tastings of excellent livestock products from the province, including those with the G-Mark certification, will be provided, along with special discounted sales allowing visitors to purchase high-quality livestock products at affordable prices. A grilling zone where visitors can grill their own meat on-site will also be operated.

In particular, on the 27th, a grill show featuring Hanwoo and Handon Grill Masters will be held, with famous chef Kang Leo and others participating as judges to evaluate the skills of the grill masters. Additionally, popular YouTuber "Jeongyukwang" will demonstrate grilling techniques and share tips on how to cook meat deliciously.

Alongside this, a "Livestock Product Sharing Event" will be conducted to promote a happy partnership between the local community and the livestock industry. The Korea Pork Producers Association will donate pork worth 40 million won to the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Council, practicing the value of sharing with neighbors facing difficulties such as those in urgent livelihood crises.

On the 28th, the event will feature busking, recreational activities, celebratory performances by singers, and a livestock promotion contest to select the best Hanwoo in Gyeonggi-do.

We ask for much interest and participation in this festival, where livestock industry workers and residents can enjoy together."
