Large Disparities in Water, Sewerage, and City Gas Fees... Han Byeong-do "Government Must Inspect"
There were significant disparities in public utility fees such as garbage bags, water and sewage, and city gas among basic local governments nationwide.

According to data received by Han Byung-do, a member of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 22nd, the 20ℓ garbage bag was most expensive in Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, at 950 won. Jinan-gun, Jeonbuk, and Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk, were the cheapest at 200 won, showing about a fivefold difference compared to Yangsan-si.
The highest city gas fee was in Jeju-si and Seogwipo-si (13,064 won), while the cheapest was in Gwangju-si at 10,606 won. The highest water supply fee was in Jecheon-si, Chungbuk (20,885 won), which was 4.3 times higher than Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk, where it was 4,880 won.
The highest sewage fee was recorded in Sejong-si and Jeongeup-si, Jeonbuk (18,500 won), more than 12 times that of Jangsu-gun, Jeonbuk (1,490 won). Representative Han said, "This is the difference between regions with well-established infrastructure such as waste disposal sites and water and sewage facilities and those without," adding, "The Ministry of the Interior and Safety needs to conduct a thorough inspection from the cost calculation and analysis stages."
