Emergency Evacuation Order for Residents in Landslide-Prone Areas
On the morning of the 21st, Busan City announced that a landslide warning had been issued for Geumjeong-gu and Dongnae-gu in Busan. The warning was issued at 9 a.m. for Geumjeong-gu and at 8 a.m. for the Dongnae-gu area.
The two local governments sent safety alert messages to residents near landslide-prone areas, advising them to evacuate to shelters or safe locations in case of an emergency. In Busan, 191mm of rain has fallen at the representative observation point in Jung-gu. Heavy rain exceeding 200mm poured in various areas, including 230mm in Busanjin-gu, 228mm in Sasang-gu, 227mm in Buk-gu, 220mm in Nam-gu, and 201mm in Dongnae.
