Goyang City Council Conducts Executive Department Briefing on Goyang City K-Culture Valley

The 3rd meeting of the 'Special Committee for the Successful Completion of Goyang-si K-Culture Valley.'

The Goyang Special City Council's "Special Committee for the Successful Completion of Goyang-si K-Culture Valley (Chairman Choi Seong-won)" announced on the 20th that it reviewed the progress of major projects related to Goyang-si K-Culture Valley on the 19th.

Reports were received from three departments: Urban Planning Policy Office, Architectural Policy Division, and Economic Free Zone Promotion Division. The committee exchanged detailed reports and in-depth Q&A sessions on △the current status of K-Culture Valley-related projects △designation of the Economic Free Zone △Hallyu Stream project, among others.

Chairman Choi Seong-won stated, "K-Culture Valley is a significant project responsible for the future of Goyang citizens, so there is great interest among the residents of Goyang." He added, "We will promptly resolve obstacles to the K-Culture Valley project such as water quality issues in Hallyu Stream and power supply problems, and through all possible measures at the Goyang city level, the executive branch and the city council will work together to achieve the successful completion of K-Culture Valley."

The Special Committee for the Successful Completion of Goyang-si K-Culture Valley was launched on July 30 and consists of Chairman Choi Seong-won, Vice Chairman Son Dong-suk, and members Go Deok-hee, Kim Su-jin, Kim Hak-young, Kim Hae-ryeon, Lee Cheol-jo, and Jo Hyun-suk.
