Yangju City will exhibit the artworks of the youth in the art club 'Bodam' at the Yangju Youth Culture House in the Uijeong Gallery of Yangju City Council until the 27th. Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 20th that the artworks of the youth members of the Yangju Youth Culture House art club ‘Bodam’ will be exhibited at the Yangju City Council Legislative Gallery until the 27th.
The Yangju Youth Culture House art club ‘Bodam’ has been active since 2021, with a total of seven youths gathering twice a month.
This exhibition, under the theme ‘Where Our Gaze Lingers,’ showcases 45 works including portraits that look up and down at various everyday subjects, adding each artist’s imagination, and is open to the public free of charge.
At the recent exhibition opening, the event began with a violin performance by the youths, followed by a time for them to explain their works. Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City, members of the Yangju City Council, and heads of related departments attended to encourage and congratulate the youths.
The representative youth of ‘Bodam’ said, “It is very meaningful and joyful to have the opportunity to hold our first exhibition and display our works so far.”
Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City said, “Many works filled with the pure passion and creativity of the youths are exhibited,” and added, “I express my deep gratitude to the youth artists and related personnel who worked hard for this exhibition.”
