"Let's Walk and Make Wishes at Gatbawi"... Gyeongsan City Hosts Wish Trail Walking Event Gatbawi of Palgongsan

The Wish Road covers a 4.9km section in Daehan-ri, Wacheon-myeon (from Damijeong to Seonbonsa Temple parking lot), and features wooden stairs, palm mats, and decks to create a diverse walking experience. The Oasis (rest area) is decorated with pinwheels, photo zones, and flower plantings, serving not only to improve the living environment for local residents within the national park but also as a rest spot for tourists visiting Palgongsan Gatbawi.

The walking course starts at the first parking lot of Palgongsan National Park, passes through the Oasis (rest area), turns around at the Yaksuam fork, and returns to the parking lot, covering a total distance of 2.5km and taking about 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete.

For the convenience and safety of participants, the event will be conducted in a way that participants do not start all at once but experience the walking course sequentially. In addition, a shuttle bus will operate every 30 minutes to connect the Gatbawi Wish Fulfillment Festival venue and the Wish Road Walking Event area. Cold water will be provided and rest area booths will be installed to prepare for the heat.

Along the walking section, garlands will be set up to add more photo zones, and various experiential programs such as writing wishes and hanging them on birch trees, bead craft activities, and "Insaengnecut" photo booth experiences will be offered. Participants who complete the course will receive tourism souvenirs.
