The event organizing committee announced on the 20th that a special hydrogen refueling station pavilion will be set up at H2 MEET, the largest hydrogen industry exhibition in Korea, held at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, starting from the 25th.
On-site, visitors can experience the entire process from hydrogen supply to vehicle refueling. Hydrogen, as a pillar of clean energy transition, is expected to have its refueling infrastructure play a crucial role in the commercialization of hydrogen technology going forward.
The special pavilion being introduced this time will provide information on the nationwide regional distribution status of hydrogen refueling stations and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Gaseous and liquid tube trailers will be exhibited on-site, allowing visitors to observe the refueling process. A liquefied tanker will be displayed to explain the refueling process at liquefied hydrogen refueling stations, and various exhibits such as a gaseous hydrogen refueling station diorama and a hydrogen city diorama will be featured.
As part of carbon neutrality efforts, the government has set a goal to establish 300,000 hydrogen vehicles and more than 660 refueling stations by 2030. Kang Nam-hoon, chairman of the H2 MEET organizing committee, said, "At the hydrogen refueling station pavilion, visitors will be able to comprehensively understand the current domestic status along with the technological advancements in gaseous and liquid hydrogen refueling processes, and step-by-step grasp all stages from hydrogen supply to vehicle refueling."
H2 MEET 2024 will be held for three days starting from the 25th. This year, it will be held in conjunction with H2 World, Korea's first hydrogen exhibition.
