Daemyeongjae Grand City Wins the 2024 Representative Apartment Comprehensive Grand Prize from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport

Daemyeong Xi Grand City, a large complex consisting of 2,023 households, is gaining significant attention for its excellent product quality, including being selected as the '2024 Representative Apartment Comprehensive Grand Prize,' and is continuing to proceed smoothly with contracts thanks to its competitive pricing compared to surrounding market prices.


Daemyeong Xi Grand City received the Comprehensive Grand Prize, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award, at the '2024 Korea Representative Apartment Awards' ceremony hosted by Korea Economic TV on the 12th of this month. The award was given in recognition of the differentiated overall product value, including large-scale landscaping communities and advanced systems within the complex.


Daemyeong Xi Grand City enhances lighting and ventilation efficiency through a south-facing oriented complex layout and dedicates approximately 16,800㎡, about 23.17% of the total site area, to landscaping to ensure a pleasant environment. The community facilities, Club Xi, will feature a variety of amenities such as a golf practice range equipped with GDR, a fitness club, GX room, sauna, screen golf, cafeteria, and reading room.


Additionally, the living spaces are designed with diverse floor plans ranging from small to large sizes. Each type offers specialized designs such as master bedroom dressing rooms, 'ㄱ·ㄷ'-shaped kitchens, and entrance storage. Some types also include specialized features like beta rooms that residents can use as studies or hobby spaces according to their lifestyle.


With these specialized designs and product qualities, the complex has successfully attracted about 800 new contracts since reopening its model house. Particularly, the competitive pricing, which is based on prices from two years ago, is considered a key factor in its success. The complex offers reasonable prices, with the 59㎡ units priced in the 300 million KRW range and the 84㎡ units in the 500 million KRW range. Nearby, the 84㎡ units in Namsan Xi Haneulchae (occupied in 2022) were traded last month at 685 million KRW, and the 84㎡ units in Hillstate Daemyeong Central Phase 2 (expected occupancy in 2026) were sold at 632.7 million KRW the same month, setting new record prices.


Meanwhile, GS Construction is developing 'Daemyeong Xi Grand City' in Daemyeong 3-dong, Nam-gu, Daegu, consisting of 17 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 34 floors above ground, totaling 2,023 households. Upon completion, it is expected to become part of a landmark Xi brand town representing the Dalgu-bul-daero area with approximately 4,400 households, together with nearby 'Namsan Xi Haneulchae' (1,368 households) and 'Cheongna Hills Xi' (947 households).


The location is also advantageous. It is a double station area adjacent to Ban-gogae Station on Daegu Subway Line 2 and Namsan Station on Line 3. Furthermore, it offers easy access to Daegu Boulevard via Seongdang-ro adjacent to the complex, and the Seongseo IC on the Jungbu Expressway and Bukdaegu IC on the Gyeongbu Expressway can be reached within about 20 minutes, facilitating convenient travel nationwide.


Educational and living infrastructure is well established. Various schools, including Seongnam Elementary School right in front of the complex, are within walking distance. Convenience facilities such as department stores, large marts, and general hospitals are nearby, and the largest urban park in Daegu, Duryu Park, covering about 1.65 million square meters, is easily accessible.


The model house for 'Daemyeong Xi Grand City' is currently operating in Duryu-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu. Occupancy is scheduled for April 2026.
