Show Us Yeongju's Autumn... Yeongju City Holds Short-form Video Contest

Prize of 4 Million Won, 6 Entries to Be Selected by October 25

Yeongju City in North Gyeongsang Province is hosting the '2024 Yeongju Short-form Video Contest' to discover and utilize innovative promotional content based on the theme of 'Autumn in Yeongju.'

This contest, which began on the 19th and runs until October 25, is open to all Korean citizens, either individually or as a team (up to 4 people).

The contest accepts only original works created during the contest period that have not previously won any awards in other competitions, and each individual or team may submit one entry.

The theme is open, focusing on expressing Yeongju's autumn (festivals, tourism, memories, restaurants, daily life, experiences, etc.), and videos must be around 1 minute in length and filmed in FHD resolution (1080×1920 pixels) or higher.

The city will conduct a two-stage judging process: an initial internal review to check the submitted documents and eligibility, followed by a second round by a panel of judges evaluating topic relevance, completeness, creativity, popularity, and usability. A total of six winning entries will be announced in December.

In December, the grand prize winner will receive 1.5 million KRW, two excellence award winners will each receive 800,000 KRW, and three encouragement award winners will each receive 300,000 KRW, along with a certificate from the Mayor of Yeongju. The winning entries will also be used as promotional content to showcase Yeongju's charm on the city's official SNS and website.

Those wishing to participate should submit the video file and required documents, including the contest application form, via email.
