A public bathhouse in Incheon has sparked controversy after filming naked customers and uploading the footage online.
JTBC's 'Sageon Banjang' reported on the 19th about a tip from Mr. A, who discovered a business that filmed the interior of the men's bathhouse while searching online for a public bathhouse located in Incheon. According to the report, the bathhouse posted promotional photos on a portal site showing naked men inside the bath, men sitting on chairs washing themselves, and photos of naked customers in the changing room. The photos were not even pixelated.
Shocked by this, Mr. A reported it to the police, but the business claimed, "We did not upload the photos ourselves." Mr. A said, "The police said that the main parts were not exposed and that they would take measures to have the photos removed for now." However, it is known that the problematic photos have not been deleted even after three weeks. Lawyer Yang Ji-yeol added, "If someone who knows them sees it, they can recognize who the person in the photo is," and "Men also feel shame."
Netizens who heard the story responded with comments such as, "This is not just a matter of removing the photos; they should be punished," "The police response is too absurd," and "Why take photos when there are people present?"
