Yongin City "5% Cashback When Using Yongin Y- Pay"

For Traditional Markets, Shopping Districts, and Good Price Stores

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province will provide an additional 5% cashback when using the local currency 'Yongin Y-Pay' at traditional markets, shopping districts, and Good Price stores from the 21st to December 31st.

This cashback is made possible by securing a total of 300 million KRW for the 'Yongin Y-Pay Consumption Support Project,' including 180 million KRW in national funds received in June through the city’s successful application to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s Local Love Gift Certificate Policy Support Contest.

Accordingly, during this period, customers paying with Yongin Y-Pay at approximately 750 affiliated stores such as Good Price stores, traditional markets, and shopping districts can receive up to a 12% discount, combining the 7% incentive provided when charging the card with an additional 5% cashback.

However, the cashback limit per person is up to 50,000 KRW, and the cashback amount must be used within three months. Any unused amount will be automatically forfeited. Also, the event may end early if the budget is exhausted before the end date. The list of affiliated Good Price stores, traditional markets, and shopping districts can be checked through the Gyeonggi Local Currency app or the Yongin City website.
