Citizens who stopped their cars after discovering an elderly man lost on the highway shoulder are touching hearts.

Recently, a video titled "Found an elderly man walking on the highway shoulder. The world is still worth living in" was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Han Moon-cheol TV.' The informant, Mr. A, revealed the footage, saying, "On July 30th, I found an elderly man who appeared to have difficulty moving, walking alone on the highway shoulder from Hwaseong to Gwacheon in Gyeonggi Province."

In the video, an elderly man is seen walking dangerously close to speeding cars. Concerned for the man's safety, Mr. A immediately stopped his car on the shoulder. While reporting to the police, he asked the elderly man, "Where are you going?" but was unable to have a proper conversation.

Worried about a potential accident, Mr. A tried to get the man into his car. At that moment, a white SUV stopped right behind. The driver, Mr. B, got out and asked Mr. A, "Are you with him?" Mr. A replied, "No, I came because he looked in danger." Mr. B said, "I saw him from up ahead and thought it was dangerous, so I turned around and came back," and offered, "I'll take him to the police station."

That day, thanks to the help of these two men, the elderly man was safely able to return home. Netizens who heard the story responded with comments such as, "It could have been a serious accident. These people are heroes," "I thank you on behalf of everyone," "I wonder if I would have stopped my car so readily; this makes me reflect," "Because of people like this, life is still worth living," "This is what Korea is really like," and "Glad he got home safely."
