Content Enhancement Including Comprehensive Training Classes Proves Effective

Damyang Dambit Swimming Pool has significantly enhanced its content, including operating comprehensive training classes since last March, resulting in an increase in users compared to the previous year. The photo shows users receiving lessons at the swimming pool.

Since enhancing its content, Damyang Dambit Swimming Pool has seen a sharp increase in both visitors and revenue.

According to Damyang County on the 19th, since March of this year, to revitalize Dambit Swimming Pool, they have been operating hourly lesson programs, including the introduction of comprehensive classes with advice from the Korea Sports Consulting Association and support from professional athletes (center directors) affiliated with the association.

Additionally, they improved pool operations in various ways such as extending operating hours, providing water safety qualification training for visitors, staff training, and real-time water quality management.

As a result of these efforts, the usage performance from March to August over six months showed that compared to the same period last year, revenue increased by about 37%, and the number of members grew by approximately 28%.

County Governor Lee Byeong-no stated, “We will do our best to manage sports facilities to ensure there are no inconveniences such as unfriendliness to visitors in revitalizing Dambit Swimming Pool,” and added, “We ask for continued interest and use of Dambit Swimming Pool and the fitness center.”
