Samsung Heavy, World's First Floating Blue Ammonia Production Facility Certified

Samsung Heavy Industries announced on the 19th that it has obtained the concept approval (AiP) for the world's first 'floating blue ammonia production facility' from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).

The floating blue ammonia production facility, installed on offshore floating bodies with a modular structure, is recognized as a next-generation eco-friendly facility with strengths such as revolutionary reduction of carbon emissions, overcoming constraints like lack of site and infrastructure, and securing economic feasibility through shortened construction periods.
