Through this MOU, the two companies will gradually proceed with collaboration in supplying total solutions for enterprises, including joint sales to expand B2B business and discovering new business opportunities.
Ricoh is the world's number one manufacturer of digital multifunction devices and a global office solutions specialist company that provides not only enterprise IT products but also workflow automation solutions, IT services and consulting, and video conferencing services. It conducts B2B business in over 200 countries worldwide.
LG Electronics plans to combine Ricoh's know-how accumulated over more than 80 years since its founding in office solutions-related businesses with LG's lineup of enterprise display products and B2B solutions.
Earlier, in August, LG Electronics announced a plan to increase the B2B portion to about 45% of total sales by 2030 as part of its business portfolio innovation strategy to realize its future vision. To this end, LG Electronics intends to expand B2B from supplying individual products to a high value-added business by adding various solutions that customers need.
Baek Gi-moon, Head of LG Electronics' ID Business Division, said, "Through strategic collaboration with global B2B companies, we will provide optimal solutions to customers and strengthen our position as a trusted partner."
