Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Hee-young) will hold the '2024 Yongsan-Sookmyung Employment and Startup Fair' at Sookmyung Women's University Snowflake Plaza Hall on the 26th and 27th of this month.

The district planned this fair as a comprehensive employment and startup event that also covers startup support. At this fair, Yongsan-gu will operate the employment hall on the 26th, while Sookmyung Women's University Campus Town will manage the startup hall on the 26th and 27th.

At the special recruitment hall, 15 companies including KleanNara, Korea SGS, Seoul Dragon City Hotel, and Starbucks will participate, offering recruitment consultations, on-site interviews, and consultations with current employees. Additionally, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will hold an experiential internship recruitment briefing session for job seekers.

At the startup special hall, about 20 startup consultation booths and startup pop-up booths will be operated, providing opportunities to demonstrate and experience innovative products from various startups. A startup talk concert featuring young startup CEOs, including a special lecture on successful entrepreneurship by Park Shin-hoo, CEO of Oroliday, is also prepared for prospective entrepreneurs.

Along with this offline fair, starting from the 23rd, Yongsan-gu will jointly operate the '2024 Seoul Northwestern 4 Districts Online Job Fair' with Mapo-gu, Seodaemun-gu, Eunpyeong-gu, and the Seoul Western Employment and Labor Office.

The online fair, aimed at providing tailored recruitment information for the ontact era, will be held until the 25th of next month. Anyone seeking employment, including young and middle-aged job seekers, those wishing to change jobs, and prospective graduates of specialized high schools, can apply for positions.

District Mayor Park Hee-young said, "I hope this fair will be a valuable opportunity for local residents to find new employment opportunities and to take an interest in startups."
