Ranks 22nd on Bubbling Under Hot 100... Anticipation for Hot 100 Entry Increases
HYBE and Geffen Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group in the United States, have raised expectations for the global girl group KATSEYE's entry into the Billboard 'Hot 100'.

On the 17th (local time), the latest US Billboard chart (dated September 21) announced that KATSEYE (Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, Yoonchae) entered the 'Bubbling Under Hot 100' at No. 22 with the double title track 'Touch' from their first EP 'SIS (Soft Is Strong)'. The 'Bubbling Under Hot 100' chart ranks 25 songs that narrowly missed entering Billboard's main song chart, the 'Hot 100'.
'Touch' also stood out on global charts that aggregate streaming and sales data from over 200 countries/regions worldwide. The song debuted at No. 159 on the 'Global 200' and rose 15 spots from the previous week to No. 144 on the 'Global (excluding US)' chart.
'SIS (Soft Is Strong)' ranked 20th and 22nd on the 'Top Current Album Sales' and 'Top Album Sales' charts, respectively. Thanks to this strong performance, KATSEYE recorded No. 93 on the 'Artist 100' chart.
KATSEYE's success on Billboard extended to the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify. 'Touch' ranked No. 130 on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart (dated September 12, covering September 6?12). Since its first entry on the September 5 chart, it jumped 25 spots in just one week. On the 'Spotify Daily Viral Songs Global' chart (dated September 16), which ranks songs based on rapidly increasing plays and shares, it reached No. 30 and has remained on the chart for 36 consecutive days.
KATSEYE successfully completed their first stage of the Asia promotion tour in Korea from September 12 to 16 and will visit the Philippines and Japan in succession.
