Seocho-gu Transforms Yangjaecheon Swimming Pool into 'Autumn Dream Playground'

Water Boat and Water Ball Experiences Available Until the 20th of Next Month

Yangjaecheon Swimming Pool is being transformed into the 'Autumn Dream Playground' for children.

Seocho-gu, Seoul, has opened the Autumn Dream Playground, which consists of the existing 6,400㎡ swimming pool site and facilities converted into play areas and relaxation spaces, and will operate it until the 20th of next month.

Starting with the cypress playground at the entrance, children can experience water balls and small boats rolling on the water in the children's pool, and enjoy easy rollers and air bounces in the lazy river pool.

In addition to the Seocho Greenhouse, a private relaxation space for families and couples, free resting areas have been created for residents walking along Yangjaecheon. For the safety of children, about 10 safety personnel are stationed throughout the area.

Admission fees are 1,000 KRW for Seocho-gu residents and 2,000 KRW for residents of other districts. When purchasing a comprehensive ticket, all rides including admission can be used for 10,000 KRW. However, the usage fee for the individual relaxation space, the Greenhouse, is separate. Operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and it is closed every Monday.

Yangjaecheon Swimming Pool operates as a seasonal theme park: 'Spring Spring Playground' in spring, 'Yangjaecheon Swimming Pool' in summer, 'Autumn Dream Playground' in autumn, and 'Winter Snow Playground' in winter.
