Buy VOD of Jo Jung-suk Starring 'Pilot' and Get Travel Gift Certificate

LG Uplus announced on the 15th that it will hold a Chuseok promotion for its IPTV service U+tv subscription product 'Uplay,' offering a 40% discount for a one-year contract.

Launched in June, Uplay is a U+tv subscription product that allows viewers to watch over 70,000 pieces of content across all genres, from movies to foreign dramas and animation, including overseas OTT original popular titles exclusively released for the first time in Korea.

LG Uplus will run the Uplay contract promotion until the end of this month. With a one-year contract for Uplay Premium, all users can enjoy a 40% discount, using the service for 9,240 KRW per month. Additionally, through a lottery, two winners will receive LG CineBeam Cube projectors worth approximately 1 million KRW each, and 200 winners will receive CGV gift certificates worth 10,000 KRW each.

Users who purchase the VOD of the movie "Pilot," starring Jo Jung-suk, will be entered into a lottery to win travel vouchers worth 1 million KRW (5 winners) and VOD discount coupons worth 5,000 KRW (2,000 winners). Separately, purchasers of the Pilot VOD will also receive a one-month free coupon for Uplay (valued at 15,400 KRW).

From the 13th to the 26th, during the Chuseok holiday, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the American film production and distribution company Columbia Pictures, 50 Uplay customers who watch the most content provided by the 'Columbia Pictures 100th Anniversary Hall' will receive a 10,000 KRW GS gas station voucher. Representative content includes "Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage," "Men in Black 1-3," "Bad Boys 1-3," the "Spider-Man series," and "Call Me by Your Name."

In addition, LG Uplus will provide 2,024 users who purchase at least one latest paid movie VOD during the holiday period with a 10,000 KRW VOD usage voucher through a lottery. Promotions are also underway to watch VODs such as "Pawn," "Alien+ Part 2," and "Kung Fu Panda 4" at up to 50% discounted prices.

Any U+tv user can watch for free over 700 movies, more than 14,000 broadcast contents including foreign dramas, over 4,000 animation contents, and around 450 cultural contents such as dance, ballet, art, and exhibitions.
