Promotion Activities for the Hometown Love Donation Program

Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk Province and the City Patriotic Movement Headquarters (Chairman Kim Jeok-woo) announced that they held a welcoming event for returning visitors at Jeongeup Station on the 14th in celebration of Chuseok, the largest national holiday.

According to Jeongeup City, Mayor Lee Hak-soo, executives of the Patriotic Movement Headquarters, and related officials warmly welcomed the visitors returning to their hometowns at the event.

On the 14th, Jeongeup City and the City Patriotic Movement Headquarters in Jeollabuk-do held a welcoming event for homecoming travelers at Jeongeup Station to celebrate Chuseok, the biggest national holiday.

The Patriotic Movement Headquarters provided local agricultural and specialty products such as jujube tea, oats, and rice cakes, carefully prepared to help those who visited their hometowns after a long time relieve their fatigue and feel the warmth of their hometown.

Mayor Lee Hak-soo expressed his gratitude to the visitors who came to their hometown. He introduced the changing new face of Jeongeup and asked for special interest in the development of the hometown. City hall employees who participated in the event also attracted the attention of visitors by promoting the Hometown Love Donation Program.

Mayor Lee said, "I hope all visitors return home filled with the warm affection of their hometown," adding, "This Chuseok as well, the city will do its best to ensure the safety and convenience of all visitors and citizens."

Chairman Kim Jeok-woo said, "I hope everyone enjoys a joyful and abundant Hangawi with their family after a long time," and added, "We will strive to widely promote local specialties and proudly showcase the hometown's attractions."
