The Goyang International Flower Fair will operate a "Flower Pop-up Store" in collaboration with Starfield from the 19th to the 25th at the Central Atrium on the 1st floor of Starfield Goyang. The Goyang International Flower Fair (Chairman Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 14th that it will operate a 'Flower Pop-up Store' in collaboration with Starfield at the Central Atrium on the 1st floor of Starfield Goyang for one week from the 19th to the 25th.
The Flower Pop-up Store is an event promoted jointly by the Goyang International Flower Fair Foundation and Starfield Goyang for five years, including this year's event, to revitalize floral culture in daily life and expand flower consumption in Goyang City.
For this Flower Pop-up Store, the Flower Fair Foundation will cooperate in supporting participating farms and creating flower photo zones. Additionally, Starfield Goyang will provide the venue and support various promotions such as media publicity to expand flower consumption in Goyang City.
At the Flower Pop-up Store, visitors can purchase high-quality flowers, cacti, and succulents directly produced by farms within Goyang City at prices 30-40% lower than market prices. In particular, the 'Goyang City Flower Farmers Association,' a representative floral farming group of Goyang City, will participate directly to exhibit various flowers and rare cacti, succulents, and foliage plants that are not easily found in the market, aiming to attract visitors' interest and curiosity about flowers and plants.
Jung Heung-kyo, CEO of the Goyang International Flower Fair Foundation, said, "We are grateful to Starfield Goyang for their cooperation. We hope many people visit and enjoy happy moments with flowers at the flower-filled Flower Pop-up Store," and added, "Even after the pop-up store ends, from October 1st, the 2024 Goyang Autumn Flower Festival and Goyang Flower Market will be held at Ilsan Lake Park, so we hope everyone spends a happy day with flowers."
