Han Dong-hoon, leader of the People Power Party, criticized North Korea's unveiling of its uranium enrichment facility on the 14th, calling it "a reality created by past submissive diplomacy toward North Korea and China."
On the same day, Han stated on Facebook, "The Democratic Party becomes unusually silent whenever North Korea is mentioned."
He said, "Soon, the leaders of the United States and Japan will change," adding, "Our security situation will also become more volatile." He urged, "Let's not focus solely on political strife and shielding, but protect the Republic of Korea threatened by North Korea's nuclear weapons."
Han emphasized, "It is time for bipartisan cooperation and measures to respond to North Korea's nuclear threat," and stressed, "Thinking and responding within the realm of normalcy and common sense is the way to protect the Republic of Korea."
