Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends 'District Office Rooftop Garden and Staff Lounge Completion Ceremony'

On the morning of the 13th at 10 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the completion ceremony for the rooftop garden and staff lounge held on the rooftop of the district office.

Since March of last year, the district has been carrying out a rooftop garden project to improve the aging main and annex building rooftops of the district office. Along with rooftop greening work, facilities such as an observation deck and exercise equipment were installed. This was done not only to improve the aging facilities but also to enhance staff rest and work efficiency, and to provide better welfare benefits.

The creation of the staff lounge called ‘Maeum Swimteo’ was also carried out simultaneously. It includes rest areas for employees’ psychological stability and auxiliary facilities such as restrooms to improve convenience.

About 100 people, including Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, Councilor Lee Yong-ah, the union chairman, and staff members, attended the completion ceremony, which proceeded in the order of ▲opening ▲introduction of guests ▲greetings ▲congratulatory remarks ▲ribbon cutting ▲facility tour.
