This statement has now become a reality.

On the 13th, Kim Yeji's agency announced that she will co-star as a killer alongside India's top star Anushka Sen in the spin-off short-form series "Crush" from the movie "Asia." "Asia" is a film featuring multinational stars from the United States and more than seven Asian countries, addressing issues of racial hatred and discrimination.

Ryu Mingguk, CEO of the actor casting platform Pulpil, to which Kim Yeji belongs, said, "Kim Yeji is excited and honored to make her acting debut as an attractive killer alongside world-class actors in the spin-off project of the Asia Lab global project film 'Asia'." Lee Jungseop, CEO and director of Asia Lab, expressed high expectations, saying, "This will be an opportunity to innovate and open a new chapter for global short-form series."

Previously, on July 28 (local time), Kim Yeji won the silver medal in the women's individual 10m air pistol event at the Paris Olympics held at the Ch?teauroux Shooting Center in France, following Oh Yejin (IBK Industrial Bank of Korea). Later, a video showing Kim Yeji casually lowering her pistol after setting a world record in the 25m pistol final at the ISSF Baku Shooting World Cup in May went viral again on X. Subsequently, on the 19th of last month, Kim Yeji signed an agent contract with the entertainer management company Pulpil and has since appeared in variety shows and photo shoots for famous brands.
