Twenty netizens who posted malicious comments about YouTuber Jjuyang have been reported to the police.


Jjuyang's legal representatives announced on the 13th that they reported 20 netizens to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on the 9th for violating the Information and Communications Network Act and defamation charges.

Attorney Kim Taeyeon of Taeyeon Law Office, the legal representative of Jjuyang, stated, "Various false facts related to Jjuyang are being spread, so we have taken legal action," and added, "We plan to report additional netizens who post malicious comments in the future."


Meanwhile, Kim, a woman in her 20s, and Song, a woman in her 30s, who extorted over 200 million won from Jjuyang through threats, are under investigation after being booked by the police in July on charges of violating the Act on Punishment of Violent Crimes (joint extortion).


It is known that they threatened Jjuyang by exploiting private information through A, Jjuyang's ex-lover and former agency representative.
