Cheonan-si and Asan-si in Chungnam Province will operate emergency medical and special treatment systems during the Chuseok holiday to ensure the safety of citizens.

Cheonan-si will keep all five emergency rooms ? Dankook University Hospital, Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital, Cheonan Chungmu Hospital, Cheonan Medical Center, and Naeunpil Hospital ? operating 24 hours a day during the holiday period to prepare for disasters and emergency patients.

In addition, designated emergency medical clinics and holiday duty pharmacies will be available to ensure there are no inconveniences in receiving medical treatment or purchasing medications.

Due to the resurgence of COVID-19, Cheonan-si will post information about COVID-19 treatment centers and designated pharmacies open during the Chuseok holiday on the Health Center website. On the day of Chuseok, seven treatment centers and three designated pharmacies will be in operation.

Asan-si will also operate a 24-hour emergency medical system at Asan Chungmu Hospital and Hyundai Hospital for emergency patients during the holiday period.

In addition, 131 clinics and hospitals and 60 pharmacies will be open. The Asan-si Health Center will also provide medical services from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from the 15th to the 18th.
