The Youth Dream Scholarship is a scholarship for out-of-school youth and began disbursement from the second half of 2024. It is awarded once a year to those who have passed the qualification exam, with nine recipients selected this year. Interested students can apply at their local eup/myeon office.
The county plans to select and announce scholarship recipients through the County Talent Development Fund Review Committee in November. Scholarships will be awarded to 36 university students (up to 2 million KRW each), 15 high school students (up to 1.5 million KRW each), and 9 Youth Dream recipients (300,000 KRW each).
County Governor Kim Soon-ho said, “We hope that the talent development scholarships will ease the financial burden on parents and allow students to focus on their studies and achieve their dreams,” adding, “We will continue to provide generous support to nurture key talents who will lead the county in the future.”
