Haman County Promotes Integrity Among Public Officials and Launches Integrity Campaign for Chuseok Holiday

Special Inspection Conducted to Eradicate Bribery and Improper Hospitality

Haman-gun, Gyeongnam held an integrity campaign to foster a culture of clean public service ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

The campaign, which took place on the 12th, was attended by over 20 people including County Governor Cho Geunje and senior officials. It was carried out to strengthen the commitment to integrity by targeting employees on their way to work, aiming to prevent the exchange of gifts or entertainment, which is prone to occur during the Chuseok holiday season, a period vulnerable to corruption.

Governor Cho stated, "We are carrying out various integrity activities to create a clean organizational culture. I ask everyone to refrain from exchanging customary holiday gifts during Chuseok and to spend a clean and honest holiday."

He added, "I hope all public officials and residents of Haman-gun will join in making our county even more transparent in the future. We will do our best to establish a culture of integrity and create a clean administration."
