SpaceX Begins Spacewalk... First Civilian in History

American space company SpaceX announced that the first-ever spacewalk by civilians began at 6:12 AM (Eastern Time) on the 12th.


SpaceX broadcast the spacewalk procedures of four astronauts live on YouTube that day.

In human history, this is the first time that civilians, not professional astronauts affiliated with government agencies such as NASA, have conducted a spacewalk.


Along with Jared Isaacman, retired Air Force pilot Scott Kid Potty and two female engineers from SpaceX, a total of four people boarded the spacecraft 'Dragon' on the 10th and flew into space, carrying out a five-day mission.
