Mayor Lee Hyun-jae is visiting Hanam Post Office on the 12th, where the workload has significantly increased due to a surge in parcel volumes, to encourage the hard work of the post office employees.

Gyeonggi Hanam City announced on the 12th that it will operate a comprehensive countermeasure situation room 24 hours a day from the 14th to the 18th during the Chuseok holiday to respond promptly to disasters and safety accidents. The situation room is composed of 109 personnel across 8 teams: the General Team, Safety Countermeasure Team, Price Stabilization Team, Environmental Monitoring Team, Resource Circulation Countermeasure Team, Traffic Countermeasure Team, Emergency Water Supply Team, and Emergency Medical Countermeasure Team.

The comprehensive countermeasure situation room will carry out tasks such as △ disaster situation management and on-site response △ smooth vehicle traffic and prevention of citizen safety accidents △ operation of duty medical institutions and holiday pharmacies △ support for situation duty teams to respond to emergency medical situations.

Mayor Lee Hyun-jae of Hanam City encouraged the hard work of frontline workers such as delivery workers at Hanam Post Office on the 12th ahead of Chuseok, and actively engaged in communication with the public by visiting traditional markets and encouraging market visits.

On the same day, Mayor Lee Hyun-jae visited Hanam Post Office to encourage the staff, and earlier on the 9th, he visited Sinjang and Deokpung Traditional Markets and Seokbadae Shopping District to promote a campaign encouraging shopping at traditional markets.

First, at 7:30 a.m. on the day, Mayor Lee Hyun-jae visited Hanam Post Office, where the workload has significantly increased due to the surge in Chuseok holiday parcel deliveries, and expressed gratitude to the on-site workers who silently carried out parcel and mail sorting tasks.

Furthermore, Mayor Lee Hyun-jae conducted a preliminary inspection of the comprehensive countermeasures for the Chuseok holiday, focusing on preventing safety accidents and stabilizing livelihoods so that citizens can spend a safe and happy Chuseok holiday.
