MOU Signing for Business Cooperation on the 12th
Mutual Collaboration Expected in Hwangma and Textiles
The Korea Importers Association announced on the 12th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for business cooperation to promote trade between Korea and Bangladesh at the association's main conference room in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Kwon Ki-chang, Executive Vice President of the Korea Importers Association, Shahab Uddin Khan, Chairman of the Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce, Park Young-sik, Ambassador to Bangladesh, and senior officials from the Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce.
Chairman Shahab said, “We look forward to mutual cooperation in various industrial sectors in Bangladesh such as plastics, jute, and textiles to revitalize trade and exchanges between the two countries,” adding, “We hope that business opportunities between companies in both countries will expand through the upcoming visit of the Korea Importers Association import delegation to Bangladesh.”
Executive Vice President Kwon said, “I am confident that business exchanges between Korean and Bangladeshi companies will further expand with this business cooperation agreement,” and added, “We hope that many excellent Bangladeshi companies will participate in the Korea Import Fair (KIF 2025) to be held at COEX next year and successfully enter the Korean market.”
