Cheongnyangsa Monk Kim Junghwan Donates Scholarships to Local Children's Center Kids

Donated 11 million won to 22 local children's centers, 500,000 won each to one child per center

Masan Happo-gu, a district of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, announced on the 12th that Cheongmyeong Bopsa of Cheongnyangsa Temple donated 11 million won in scholarships to 22 children from local children's centers.

Cheongmyeong Bopsa, the head monk of Cheongnyangsa Temple, said, "It is rewarding and meaningful to provide exactly the right help where it is needed. I will strive to become a reliable stepping stone for those who need support."


Kang Changyeol, head of Masan Happo-gu Office, expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much for delivering valuable donations every year, not only within the district but also wherever help is needed. The administration will also do its best to help children nurture their precious dreams and hopes."


Meanwhile, Cheongnyangsa Temple and Cheongmyeong Bopsa, located in Yeohang-myeon, Haman-gun, have been consistently sharing by continuously donating items such as rice and gift certificates to administrative welfare centers and child welfare facilities in Happo-gu.


This scholarship donation will provide 500,000 won each to one child selected from each of the 22 local children's centers in Masan Happo-gu, which is expected to be a great support for children in financial difficulty, as the selected students can use the funds to purchase daily necessities.
