Seoul Jung-gu Wins Korea Knowledge Award with 'AI Naepyeon Jung-gu'

Nation's First AI Intelligent Integrated Administrative Platform Unveiled

Jung-gu District Office in Seoul (Mayor Kim Gil-seong) received the Korea Knowledge Award for its AI intelligent integrated administrative platform 'AI Naepyeon Jung-gu,' the first of its kind nationwide.

On the 12th, Jung-gu announced that it won the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award at the '13th Korea Knowledge Awards 2024' ceremony held on the 11th at the Inspire Resort in Incheon.

Hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the 'Korea Knowledge Awards' recognize outstanding cases of administrative and public institutions as well as private companies that have contributed to government innovation and enhanced corporate competitiveness through knowledge administration and knowledge management.

The excellent case submitted by Jung-gu was the AI intelligent integrated administrative platform 'AI Naepyeon Jung-gu,' which uses AI technology to provide customized administrative services needed by residents.

'AI Naepyeon Jung-gu,' which underwent a pilot operation period earlier this year and has been in full operation since May, is an integrated administrative service platform for Jung-gu that allows users to view scattered administrative services all in one place at a glance. By introducing AI intelligent search, it helps users find customized information smartly even if they do not know the exact service name, ensuring no information is omitted.

Mayor Kim Gil-seong expressed his thoughts, saying, "I am especially pleased that this award recognizes our efforts to find solutions by utilizing cutting-edge digital technology to dramatically improve convenience and accessibility for residents."
