NH Investment & Securities announced on the 12th that it has launched the industry's first chart analysis artificial intelligence (AI) service called 'Chabuni'.
Chabuni is the first service in the financial sector to utilize generative AI's image recognition capabilities. It explains the charts that customers are viewing in an easy-to-understand manner, highlighting analysis points on the charts that may be difficult to grasp or easily overlooked. The chart analysis AI can be accessed on NH Investment & Securities' QV and Namu Securities mobile trading system (MTS) current price chart screens. This AI service automatically provides key points and interpretations based on the charts, making it suitable for investors who want quick and simple explanations of technical analysis. It analyzes ▲trading strategies ▲price patterns ▲volume changes ▲technical indicators, pointing out buy and sell timing as well as stop-loss points in trading strategies. It also notifies users when trends and patterns occur on the charts and distinguishes support and resistance prices into primary and secondary levels. The AI analyzes volume increase and decrease patterns and interprets their significance, explains the current status of technical indicators set on the charts in an easy-to-understand way, and guides technical indicators that even experts might miss.
Chabuni was developed with support from NH Nonghyup Financial Group’s AI transformation strategy consulting and incorporates the latest AI technologies to enhance AI-based investment support services. It utilizes ChatGPT-4o from OpenAI, a global leader in generative AI, and completed patent application last month. Without any special promotion, the beta version recorded about 200,000 views on its first day, attracting significant attention.
NH Investment & Securities plans to help even novice investors easily understand stock charts and make wise investment decisions through Chabuni. Yoon Byung-woon, CEO of NH Investment & Securities, said, "Charts are extremely important information in investing and are an area where even experts struggle with interpretation. The chart analysis AI breaks down charts easily, which will be a great help to customers," adding, "NH Investment & Securities will continue to introduce various visualization services for investors in the future."
