Uijeongbu-si Cuts Operation Time of Airport Bus No. 7300 by 40 Minutes

Shortened Route Passing Through Goyang City from October 1
Daily Operations to Increase from 6 to 10 Trips

Airport bus No. 7300 operating between Uijeongbu and Gimpo Airport (Gimpo Airport).

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 12th that starting from October 1st, the 7300 airport bus route will be shortened by reducing the section passing through Goyang City to improve citizens' accessibility to Gimpo Airport.

Until now, Uijeongbu citizens have experienced inconvenience as they had to pass through Goyang City when using the 7300 airport bus to get to Gimpo Airport.

With this route change, the travel distance will be significantly shortened, reducing the travel time from the previous 2 hours to 1 hour and 20 minutes, cutting 40 minutes. Additionally, the daily number of trips is expected to increase from 6 to 10, making it more convenient for citizens to use the airport bus.

The changed route starts from Daewon Garage and operates through Uijeongbu Intercity Terminal~Uijeongbu Budaejjigae Street, Jungang Station~Uijeongbu Station, Dongbu Square~(Old) Uijeongbu 3-dong Post Office~Beomgol Entrance, Sangwoo High School~Uijeongbu City Hall, Tax Office~Heungseon Brownstone, The Sharp Park Avenue Apartments~Bukhansan National Park Songchu Valley, Nutinamu, and then directly to Gimpo Airport.

Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, “With the shortened operation of the 7300 airport bus route, the accessibility of Uijeongbu citizens to Gimpo Airport will be greatly enhanced,” adding, “We will continue to expand various transportation networks while implementing public transportation policies that prioritize citizens.”
