Current Fine Dust Status Displayed with 4 Lighting Colors
Designed to Prevent Glare and Illuminate More Widely
Hanwha Construction Division announced on the 12th that the 'Forena Signature Security Light' designed by the division has been selected for the 2024 Good Design Award Excellence Design (GD).
The Good Design Award is the most prestigious design award ceremony in Korea, held since 1985, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP). It comprehensively evaluates the product's appearance, functionality, materials, and economic feasibility, awarding the Excellence Design 'GD' (Good Design) mark to products recognized for design excellence.
Hanwha Construction Division has acquired a total of 39 GD marks, including the Forena Signature Security Light this time.
The Forena Signature Security Light selected for this year's Excellence Design consists of two types: a fine dust security light equipped with a real-time air quality display function and a general security light. The fine dust security light independently classifies air quality into four levels: Good, Moderate, Bad, and Very Bad, changing the LED light color according to the grade to inform the current fine dust status.
The side of the Forena Signature Security Light applies the Forena color Champagne Gold, and the security light head harmonizes curves and straight lines. It is designed at a 30-degree angle from the ground to prevent glare for nighttime pedestrians and illuminate a wider area brightly.
Kim Min-seok, Head of the Architecture Business Headquarters at Hanwha Construction Division, said, "The Forena Signature Security Light is recognized for its excellence with a design that combines both aesthetics and usability," adding, "We will continue to introduce differentiated designs that can enhance the brand value of Hanwha Forena."
