Gyeonggi-do Publishes Certification Collection for Excellent Public Facility Designs

'Excellent Design Certification Data Book for Public Facilities' published by Gyeonggi-do

Gyeonggi Province has published a certification booklet featuring products selected under the Public Facility Excellent Design Certification Program.

The Excellent Design Certification Program is a design accreditation system conducted annually by Gyeonggi Province since 2009 to improve the quality of public design and introduce public facilities suitable for public spaces.

This year, Gyeonggi Province selected 48 products through a public contest. Additionally, 19 products were selected through internal review for re-certification of products with expired certifications.

The certification booklet includes products selected from 2022 to 2024. Key featured products include 157 items across 14 categories such as street lamps, benches, pagodas, bollards, and pedestrian fences.

The excellent design products include street lamps designed with non-exposed elements to avoid impairing the appearance of existing national flag holders and banner stands, bridge fences considering fall prevention, and pedestrian fences designed with children's safety in mind, all demonstrating outstanding product competitiveness.
