North Korea launched ballistic missiles following five consecutive days of sending 'trash balloons' earlier this month.

On the morning of the 12th, the Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile into the East Sea. Detailed specifications such as the missile type and flight distance are currently being analyzed.
Earlier, from the 4th to the 8th, North Korea released a large number of trash balloons, totaling around 1,300, toward the south for five consecutive days. This ballistic missile launch is the first in two months since July 1.
