Saewool Nuclear Power Holds Chuseok Event for Regional Coexistence

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head: So Yu-seop) will hold a Chuseok event titled "Tell Your Wish to the Moon" from September 14 to 18 for visitors to Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun, aiming to boost the local economy during the Chuseok holiday.

This event, held for those returning to their hometowns for Chuseok and visitors to tourist attractions in Seosaeng-myeon during the holiday, celebrates KHNP's selection as the preferred bidder for the Czech Dukovany nuclear power plant and aims to revitalize local businesses.

The event will take place as a daily guerrilla-type event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at four cafes located in Seosaeng-myeon during the holiday period. To participate, visitors must visit all four cafes, follow the Saeul Headquarters Instagram account, and leave a comment and story sharing their wishes for Chuseok and supporting KHNP's final contract for the Czech nuclear power plant.

The first 100 participants at each cafe will receive a cafe voucher worth 10,000 KRW, and the top 10 stories will be selected to receive a limited edition Oxford Block modeled after a nuclear power plant.

Lee Seungrak, Head of Public Relations, said, "I hope this event will become a special memory for those visiting the region during Chuseok," adding, "I wish the local elders and families returning to their hometowns a healthy and bountiful Chuseok."
