Police Conduct Search and Seizure of 'Hanguk Seonbul Card' for Distributing and Selling Happy Money Gift Certificates

The police have launched a forced investigation into Korea Prepaid Card, an affiliate of Happymoney INC.

On the 11th, the Financial Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency dispatched investigators to conduct a search and seizure at the headquarters office of Korea Prepaid Card in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, as well as at the residence of its CEO.

This search and seizure is part of the investigation into the suspension of Happymoney gift certificates, which was caused by delayed settlements from TMON and WEMAKEPRICE. Korea Prepaid Card has been involved in the distribution and sale of gift certificates.

Earlier, on the 4th and 5th, the police conducted a search and seizure at the headquarters of Happymoney INC in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
