Uljin County, "Ongadeuk Hangawi Package" Sharing Volunteer Activity

Wishing You a Bountiful Chuseok Like the Full Moon!

Uljin County, North Gyeongsang Province (Governor Son Byungbok), in collaboration with the Uljin County Comprehensive Volunteer Center (Director Jang Taeyoon), carried out the 'Warm Chuseok Gift Package' sharing volunteer activity on the 10th in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

Uljin County conducted a sharing volunteer activity called the "Warm On Gaful Chuseok Package."

This 'Warm Chuseok Gift Package' sharing volunteer activity was conducted as an intensive volunteer effort for the holiday. With additional support from the 'Gyeongbuk Volunteer Week' Chuseok Love Relay Donation, the packages were made more plentiful, allowing warmth to be shared with neighbors in welfare blind spots.

This activity included locally produced snow crab seaweed, Hangwa (traditional Korean sweets), and ready-to-eat meals that seniors can easily enjoy. The packages were carefully prepared to provide both meals and snacks, and were delivered to the doorsteps of 250 households in welfare blind spots within the county.

One participant said, "Every year during the holidays, I volunteer to deliver packages to neighbors in need," and added, "Seeing the bright smiles of the recipients gives me a sense of fulfillment, knowing that I can help make their holidays warmer. I want to continue participating in these activities in the future."
