[Special Stock] Codes Combine Surpasses 2,000 Won in 1 Year... Rising Expectations for Earnings Improvement

As of 10:48 AM on the 11th, Codes Combine is trading at 2,015 KRW, up 13.78% (244 KRW) from the previous trading day. This breaks the 52-week high of 1,900 KRW recorded in December 2023. The intraday breakthrough of 2,000 KRW is also the first in exactly one year since last September.

Codes Combine is a women's apparel fashion company. Its flagship brand is Codes Combine. The products are sold through distribution channels such as department stores, agencies, and directly operated stores. Recently, Codes Combine has strengthened its competitiveness by recruiting numerous experts from well-known companies. In particular, it is moving away from its existing young casual image and is entering the traditional women's wear market. This year, the sales target is 45 billion KRW from about 60 stores.

Codes Combine was once known as a representative "scarce stock." A scarce stock refers to a stock with a high ownership stake by major shareholders, resulting in a low volume of shares available for trading. This means it has a high potential for significant price increases even with low trading volume. In the past, the largest shareholder Cotton Club held over 90% of the shares, making it synonymous with a "scarce stock." Thanks to this, it once ranked second in market capitalization on the KOSDAQ. Currently, the largest shareholder Ko&Com holds 60.33%. Exempted shareholders from disclosure, so-called small shareholders with less than 1% ownership, collectively hold 39.42%.
