Leap Forward as a Comprehensive Laundry Tech Company
Uisikju Company, which operates the non-face-to-face mobile laundry service Laundrigo, announced on the 11th that it has opened the B2C (business-to-consumer) laundry complex (factory and office complex) called 'Laundrigo Global Campus' in Dangjeong-dong, Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The Laundrigo Global Campus spans 11,900㎡ and combines the Laundrigo Smart Factory, which began operations in 2022 and can process 270,000 laundry items per day, with the headquarters office and the laundry research and development (R&D) organization, Laundry Innovation Lab. Earlier in early August, about 100 employees who were working at the Seoul Yongsan office moved to the campus.
Uisikju Company plans to strengthen field-centered management to innovate operational efficiency and service quality, and to generate sustainable profits to leap forward as the world's leading comprehensive laundry tech company.
To this end, Uisikju Company has carried out a large-scale organizational restructuring centered on the campus site and quickly applied innovative solutions such as automated garment bundling equipment to the smart factory site, aiming to maximize operational efficiency and achieve a turnaround to profitability in the fourth quarter of this year through cost reduction.
Jung Soo Cho, CEO of Uisikju Company, said, “With the opening of the Laundrigo Global Campus, we will strengthen execution capabilities on site and make significant investments in automated processes to grow Uisikju Company into a global comprehensive laundry tech company with world-class competitiveness. Furthermore, we will contribute to creating quality jobs in the local community.”
