Kiturami Supplies ‘Far-Infrared Ondol Heating’ to 51 Classrooms at Daejeon Neulbom School

Expansion of Carbon Board Installation

On the 11th, Gidulami announced that it installed the 'Gidulami Carbon Board Ondol' in 51 classrooms of 15 Neulbom Schools in the Daejeon area. Neulbom School is a comprehensive educational program that integrates and improves after-school and care programs in existing elementary schools, linking various educational resources from schools and local communities to support student growth and development outside of regular classes. In particular, the Neulbom School program includes learning activities that utilize classroom floors, necessitating an environment where floor heating is available during the winter season.

During the summer vacation period, 15 elementary schools in the Daejeon area remodeled 51 existing classrooms and installed floor heating using Gidulami Carbon Board, considering various advantages such as easy installation, heating cost reduction, far-infrared heating, and safety.

The Gidulami Carbon Board can be installed directly on existing floors without additional floor heating construction such as piping installation or concrete work, significantly reducing the construction period. In fact, it took a total of 25 days to install the carbon board in 51 Neulbom School classrooms in the Daejeon area (installation area of 3,800㎡), with an average installation time of 5 hours per classroom.

Applying the advantages of the 3rd generation carbon mat, the Gidulami Carbon Board emits far-infrared rays through its patented carbon heating mesh, providing fast and uniform radiant heat throughout the indoor space. As a dry heating system that does not use heating water, there is no concern about pipe freezing in winter, and heat loss during heating is minimized.

Gidulami is accelerating sales efforts to institutions such as city and provincial education offices in preparation for increased demand for floor heating installation due to the expansion of Neulbom Schools. Additionally, focusing on specialized carbon board stores in each region, it plans to discover various installation cases that can leverage the advantages and economic efficiency of dry heating in accommodations, medical facilities, public facilities, and social welfare facilities, thereby expanding sales.

A Gidulami Boiler official stated, “Starting with first graders in elementary school this year, the target users of Neulbom Schools will expand to all grades by 2026, so inquiries about Gidulami Carbon Board installation are expected to increase in elementary school facilities nationwide,” adding, “Gidulami Carbon Board is not only easy to install and maintain but also safe from heavy metals and harmful electromagnetic waves, making it a reliable choice for children’s living spaces.”
