On the 11th, SK C&C announced that it has launched a company-wide digital ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation project to innovate the digital transformation (DX) operations of Ssangyong C&E.


Ssangyong C&E, established in 1962 as a cement company, is building a business model as a comprehensive environmental company through large-scale investments in production facilities. Recently, it has enhanced its corporate competitiveness by establishing eco-friendly facilities and infrastructure such as waste heat power generation equipment and energy storage systems (ESS), creating systems that meet global standards.


Through this project, SK C&C will build a 'hybrid digital ERP system' covering the overall operations of Ssangyong C&E and its subsidiary Ssangyong Logistics.


It plans to apply global standard common processes such as ▲financial accounting ▲management accounting ▲purchasing and materials, and develop optimized internal digital systems for key operations including ▲production quality management ▲sales logistics management ▲facility construction management ▲safety management.


Kim Daehyun, head of the IT Innovation Team at Ssangyong C&E, said, "This ERP implementation project was promoted to strengthen corporate competitiveness and market responsiveness through the introduction of global standard processes," adding, "The goal is to create a DX management environment that supports digital data-based decision-making."


Hwang Minjeong, head of the Strategic Business Development Group 1 at SK C&C, stated, "We will contribute to establishing a hyper-automation foundation for Ssangyong C&E."
